The following links are to websites I find informative, and thought-provoking...some of the very best
on the Web.

I highly recommend the Future of Freedom Foundation whose mission
is to "advance freedom by providing an uncompromising moral and economic case for individual liberty, free markets, private
property, and limited government." One may subscribe to their free daily email newsletter (a wealth of ideas, information
and the best articles on true liberty on the net); access their extensive archive of Jacob Hornberger's writings and the writings
of several other FFF writers/contributors, and may subscribe to their monthly Freedom Daily digest - which I look forward
to every month. (Read of my experience attending the annual Future of Freedom Conference "The Spirit of Liberty is Alive & Well!)

The Independent Institute's mission is to "transcend the all-too-common
politicization and superficiality of public policy research and debate, redefine the debate over public issues, and foster
new and effective directions for government reform..." Visit them for in-depth articles backed with research.
Nearly any topic can be located in their archives.
"The Law"
by Frederick Bastiat
From
the DownSizeDC Mission statement: "We believe the federal government has grown too large, too intrusive, and too expensive.
We believe in constitutional limits, small government, civil liberties, federalism, and low taxes...We want to end laws and
programs that don't work, cause harm, and violate the Constitution. We want to restore the full force of the 9th and 10th
amendments, which reserve most social functions to the people and the states. Our goal is to reduce the federal government
to a tiny fraction of its current size, decentralize power, end deficits, federal borrowing, and monetary inflation, and eliminate
most federal taxation and the IRS...Our goal is to have millions of Americans emailing, writing, and calling their elected
representatives to oppose bad laws, and to support laws that shrink the size, scope, intrusiveness, and cost of the federal
government. We will recruit these millions of Americans through the Internet, advertising, media interviews, and direct mail..."http://www.downsizedc.org/index.shtml
"Truthdig is a Web magazine that provides
expert in-depth coverage of current affairs as well as a variety of thoughtful, provocative content assembled from a progressive
point of view. The site is built around major “digs,” led by authorities in their fields, who will drill down
into contemporary topics and assemble packages of content—text, links, audio, video—that will grow richer with
time and user participation..." TruthDig is a website I highly recommend
for its diversity of topics and authors. With a stated pupose "to provide you with insightful and accurate reporting
on current subjects and on issues that need to be brought to your attention. We want to challenge conventional wisdom," TruthDig
succeeds in that mission. I highly recommend it.

"Pacifism: The Case Against Distilled" by Phil Elmore. Excellent article; excellent
websites by Elmore. "To live life actively, to live to the fullest of your being, is to stand your ground in the face
of the myriad forces and individuals who might oppose you , dominating every space you occupy and driving forward to do what
you must, what you will," a quote from Elmore's essay exposing pacifism for what it is: weakness. I highly recommend
this essay; to believe in love, and in peace, does not mean you become a pacifist...it means you become one who will
fight for the truth, for what is right, and engage in self-defense. Many I have met assume I must be a pacifist because
I believe in love, and oppose America's history of and continued imperialism...on the contrary I am not a pacifist.
I believe in self-defense both on the personal, as well as the national (military), level when necessary/justified.
Excellent essay by Elmore--highly recommended!
