I heard the following on a radio show, and wanted to share it with my readers. It's another example of big government
bureaucrats' attempt to attack free speech.
Listen to this excellent audio recording detailing the story of what happened
to Laura Berg (a nurse working for the Veterans Administration) after her letter-to-the-editor was published in the Albuquerque
newspaper Alibi.
Listen to it - and consider what happened to her. The good wins in this case - Berg just
received the PEN/Katherine Anne Porter First Amendment Award ($10,000 prize). But how could any rational person have even
threatened her with a charge of sedition? (Of course, we know the answer - they aren't rational, just intent on building tyranny
by suppressing free expression of opinion.)
